Our Team

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

I firmly believe that every child currently within the foster care system is entitled to have their individual perspectives not only heard, but also significantly amplified, and, most importantly, to have the opportunity to reside in an environment that is both secure and offers the promise of lasting stability, establishing a true sense of belonging.

In my capacity as the Executive Director of CASA of Elkhorn Valley, I dedicate my efforts to spearheading initiatives that are designed to cultivate empowerment within our local communities. These initiatives are intended to serve as catalysts, igniting hope and providing a powerful, unwavering voice for those children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring they are not forgotten. We achieve this through a combination of encouraging community donations and actively promoting volunteerism within the courtroom setting. My primary focus is on fostering strategic organizational growth while simultaneously guaranteeing that each child within the counties we have the privilege of serving is provided with a steadfast and committed advocate who will champion their cause.

Beyond my professional responsibilities, which include celebrating the invaluable contributions of our volunteers and tirelessly advocating for the rights and well-being of our most vulnerable young people, you might find me deeply engaged in nurturing my own family relationships, engaging in physical activities such as walking or running for both health and enjoyment, contributing to my local community as an EMT, serving on the school board to promote educational equity, collaborating in the co-production of our local high school musical, and lending my voice through singing at various church settings, including weddings and funerals.
